Miles learned a new trick this week. He can now push up his snack tray on his swing with his feet. I guess he doesn't like to be restricted. This week the boys have also started really pushing up on their legs when you hold them. Colston would rather be on his feet then sitting now which is strengthening their legs good.
The Dr. appointment yesterday went okay. The checkup was fine but we had shots again which is always heartbreaking. Their little faces turn bright red and they scream at the top of their lungs before breaking out in the cries. The Dr said that we could start trying cereal at any point which was opposite of what the nurse said when I called in. He said if you ask 5 doctors they will give you five different answers on the subject. The Dr. said the boys are growing very fast. Colston is growing up and thinning out while Miles brain is growing at a faster pace than his legs. Here are the stats for them at four months.
Colston:
Weight = 15 pounds 4 oz (60th percentile)
Height = 26 inches (90th percentile)
Head = 17 inches (75th percentile)
Miles
Weight = 14 pound 14 oz (50th percentile)
Height = 24 3/4 inches (50th percentile)
Head = 17 1/8 inches (75th percentile)
So we have two boys that are at or above the average child their age in weight. Miles is right on target for height and Colston is tall for his age and BOTH children have large heads for their age.
I have included a picture of them on the night after shots. This helps you gain a visual of what it's like at our household the day of shots. Two upset children who want to be held. Colston also blessed us with not feeling good through the night so both Chris and I were both nice and tired on Friday. :)
