Who helped you prepare for Xmas?
This year there were so many helping hands in my house to help decorate! Okay -- the weren't really that helpful at all but it was a fun time decorating with two little ones crawling around. We were preparing for all of the family to arrive. Knowing that we were having extra visitors Miles and Colston were very eager to help! Colston did get side tracked a few times as he found the christmas lights very tasty and had to put the christmas ornaments in is mouth also. Miles on the other hand just crawled around stringing things through the house. My hope was to take a cute picture for a card but that didn't happen at the boys couldn't both look at me at the same time. I spent a lot of time taking things out of Colston's hands. I love the sound of teeth scratching on glass lights. Don't worry -- no one was injured in the making of this blog post.

Thanksgiving & Visitors
This year we went to Kelly's for Thanksgiving. It was nice to spend time with family and the boys could interact with their cousins. They really liked the window that was just their height!
We were happy to see Miss Mary over the Thanksgiving Holiday as well. She stopped in to meet the boys. We don't like her living so far away!
The boys continue to get their teeth in which is really fun..... they both have 2 on the top and two on the bottom with some extras coming in. Due to this the "termites" have started to eat their beds! I now have all four sides covered with blankets so they won't eat them any more. They do enjoy interacting with each other and at night I frequently find them standing at the ends of their cribs laughing and babble talking. Below I also included a morning picture of them. Of course bruser has a scratch on his forehead.

A Walk on the Trail.....
One of the nice things about living in Florida is that in the month of December we still have days nice enough to take a walk on the trail. It's getting increasingly harder to get photos of both boys smiling so sometimes I just have to settle with their natural interactions. Miles was so dis-interested in taking pictures he crawled away and into the ditch on the side of the trail.
I also like telling Chris to keep them still so I can take a picture. It's always a struggle now that they are mobile. So sorry for the delays in posting! I got a new camera and had trouble uploaded to the site. More blogs to come on Christmas this weekend!

9 Months
So I finally put aside some time to update the blog. My apologies to all of you as I know I made some promises to do it last weekend and didn't. (sorry Dad) We have been so busy with Thanksgiving, work re-organizations for me, and putting up Christmas decorations that I honestly didn't have the time. Now you should have your fill as there were multiple posting put up today so be sure to scroll down.
The boys turned 9 months old! I can't believe how fast time flies. I look back now and wish they were those little bundles for just one more day. It was so much easier to carry both of them at that point. It was 13 pounds total when they were born and as of this week they are 43 pounds and 4 ounces. WOW! No wonder I have back problems. Yes the boys could be heavy weight champions.
In this Corner:
Colston - First child in the ring weight was 7 pounds 8 ounces at birth is currently:
Weight: 21 pounds 9 ounces (70th Percentile)
Height: 29 inches (75th percentile)
Head: 18 1/2 inches (80th percentile)
Miles - My baby -- my little bundle weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces at birth is currently:
Weight: 21 pounds 11 ounces (75th Percentile)
Height: 28 1/2 inches (52nd Percentile)
Head: 18 1/2 inches (80th Percentile)
Yes - the little one I was worried I would have to watch to be sure he didn't get beat up is now heavier than his brother and the resident bully at our house. They both got great reports at the Doctor for their 9 month checkup. They are doing everything they should be at this age and a little ahead in some aspects as twins are targeted to be a little behind and they are not. The next adventure will be starting solid foods. We plan to begin that a little in a couple of weeks but really not transition completely until we are out of baby food. For now with two working parents it's much easier to have baby food then to cook the minute you walk in the door. We are so happy that we have two chubby -- big headed -- healthy boys!
