Thanksgiving 2012

As always it's taken me a while to get the blog updated. For thanksgiving we went to Destin and were fortunate enough to meet much of our family there. From Chris' side we had Nate, Leslie, and Natalie; Dinah, Allison, and Lacey; and from my side we had Charlotte, Sam and the kids as well as Grill Master Denny and Gale. Although not everybody was there we had a great time. Hopefully next year my brother won't ditch us for Playa de Carmen and Dad will realize we are much more fun than sitting at home alone. Yep...I went there! We enjoyed our time together by going to the beach, eating way too much (Gale's crock pot candy was the bomb), playing games, riding bikes, shopping, and spending quality time together. Chris and I surprised ourselves by having a decent ride up as we had prepared ourselves for the worst. The boys slept most of the way and on the way back we left a little later but they watch TV with their new DVD players which helped a lot. We look forward to doing it again next year if everyone else agrees.
