Last Specialist Visit - week 36.

Our last appointment with the specialist was today. They did our last Ultrasound which as expected showed that the boys have once again outdone themselves in the weight department. Baby A weighs 7.2 pounds and Baby B weighs 6.8 pounds. The specialist indicated that he will still be recommending delivery at 37 weeks or we could go to 38 weeks. No amino test was needed since I am almost through week 36 and now considered full term for twins. The non-stress test shows that at this point neither of the babies are stressed and I am not really having any contractions.
I really think they would stay in their until 40 weeks if we let them. The specialist joked that he doesn't think I will be able to breath if I go to 40 weeks since they are so large. No more specialist appointments and no more ultrasounds. I see my OB tomorrow for his final decision on when to move forward. As promised I have posted an updated picture of the belly as well as pictures of the nursery. I also thought the picture of the soon to be daddy trying to figure out how to put on a bjorn was pretty funny.
